> Say your business has ten credible capabilities. The market probably knows you for only two.
> Measuring that gap used to mean an expensive and long brand tracking study.
> We've developed an approach to do it in a day, and we'll measure yours for free.
Bring that report to your next planning session.

Why the gap costs you
There are companies in your target market with problems your business solves well.
But if they don't associate your brand with your capabilities, you never make their day one shortlist.
They never get in touch, and you never get a shot at the contract.
|
|
|
The old way to measure that gap works. But nobody uses it.
Brand tracking. Sample your target market, ask which companies they associate with which capabilities, compare yourself against competitors, repeat.
It works. But it's also expensive and slow, which is why most B2B companies don't do it consistently.
So we looked for a cheaper way to see the same thing.

18 questions. Three models. 54 answers.
Buyers now ask AI who to buy from. The model names the handful of brands it links to that question and problem.
We built a test to measure that systematically.
18 questions, sequenced the way a buyer narrows a decision. Each one runs through ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. That's 54 answers. We track which brands appear, how prominently, and how much the three models agree.
We call the result the Share of Model report: how much of a category, and of the capabilities inside it, a brand occupies in AI search.
|
|
|
We ran it for a client. They appeared zero times.
The obvious explanation is that the models had never heard of them.
So we asked directly. Turns out they knew the company very well. Capabilities, credentials, service model, history, all accurate.
The knowledge was there. The recommendation wasn't.
That is the same problem brands have always had with buyers.
You can be completely credible once someone finds you, and still be invisible when they decide who to look at.
|
|
|
But it gets better.
Those same 54 answers show which capabilities are already taken.
For some, the same competitors came back across all three models. Those associations are locked up.
For others, there was almost no agreement. Lots of companies appeared, hardly any consistently. Nobody owns those capabilities yet.
So our Share of Model report is not just a scorecard of where you sit. It's also a map of what's available for your brand to take.
|
|
|
Want to see yours?
We'll run a Share of Model report for your brand at no cost.
You'll see where you stand against competitors, what you're associated with, where you're
absent, and where there is whitespace to build.
